The BIG 'O': Different Types of Orgasms and how to have them

There is a moment we all know and love, that we look forward to, and that never fails to draw a huge sigh from us when we finally experience it. I could be talking about taking your bra off at the end of a work day, but this time (and this time only), I’m talking about an orgasm.

In all seriousness orgasms are inarguably and scientifically one of the best things our bodies are capable of doing. They increase endorphins, relieve stress, and give us a big dose of dopamine - making us happier, healthier, and more relaxed ladies. Wouldn’t it be great if there were MORE orgasm options, so we could feel this high more often? Well you’re in luck because it turns out there are many ways to have an orgasm, some of which you may have never thought of or experienced before! Most women experience clitoral and vaginal orgasms regularly but next time you’re in the mood to get off, why not try one of these other options?

Exercise or “Coregasm”

We all know exercise is good for us, or so my doctor keeps telling me, but did you know it could also get you off? I might as well just give my neighbourhood gym all my money right now.

This type of orgasm requires targeted contractions of your abdominal muscles and can be hard to achieve. Experts recommend first getting your heart rate up, and then working on your core. Anything that works on your lower abdominal muscles could do the trick. And hey, if it doesn’t work, at least you got in a workout

Anal orgasm

I wouldn’t say anal has a great rep among most ladies, but according to science (and probably your friends, if you asked) anal stimulation can produce powerful orgasms. You don’t need to go full penetration to get the benefits of this orgasm either, as simply stimulating the outside of the anal opening or inserting a finger could do the trick. The next time you’re looking for an orgasm that is outside of the box (I’m sorry, I couldn’t help myself), engaging with anal stimulation might be a good option!

Nipple orgasm

According to scientists, nipple play releases thesame chemicals in your brain that sexual organ stimulation does - meaning you can feel orgasm sensations during this kind of touch as well. While not everyone can orgasm this way, it can still be overwhelmingly pleasurable and is worth a try! If you’re looking to try this out, experiment with having your partner lightly breath on your nipples, or gently use their mouths. Light nipple stimulation with fingers is great too!

At the end of the day, don’t feel bad if these styles of orgasms don’t work for you - we are all different, and our bodies react to different stimuli! However, giving them a try can’t hurt and if they do work then you might just have a bit of a happier and  more relaxed day ahead of you!
